Are there any up-front costs for Shop Boss Auto Repair Software?
No. Simply setup your free trial account then use it for 30 days. If you like it, enter your credit card number and your account will be activated. There are no differences between the trial account and fully active account.

Can I use Shop Boss with my IPad?
Yes! Shop Boss is a web-based application and works with almost any mobile device. Android tablets, iPads, Apple and Android smartphones, laptops or PCs. All you need is an active internet connection.

How often is my data backed up?
Shop Boss backs all of our data every hour. In addition to that, we also cloud backup every night. Also, you can make a backup of your own data any time you like?

Can I use Shop Boss without and internet connection?
No. In order to access Shop Boss's auto repair software, you do need an active internet connection. However, there are things you can do to provide yourself an internet backup connection.

  • First, you can use your cell phone to create an internet connection for your shop
  • Second, you can have and extra, low-cost internet connection as a backup. Most modern day routers have the ability to have 2 internet connections in case one goes down

Can I use Shop Boss with multi-location repair shops?
Yes, Shop Boss works with multiple locations.

  • Share customers and vehicles among all of your locations
  • Share vehicle history at all locations

Can I integrate with Quickbooks?
Absolutely! We integrate with Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online.
